FAQ

Production

All of our bags and accessories are designed and handmade in Canada using materials and components imported from around the world.

As we use a network of home sewers, items not in stock can take 2 or more weeks to ship.

Shipping

Yes, we do ship internationally. When selecting the shipping option it will show the cost and time for that shipment.

**UK ONLY** MINIMUM ORDER $165USD (before shipping) & BUYER MUST PAY VAT & DUTY AT TIME OF IMPORT.

In order to get the cheapest rates of shipping for our customers we use a combination of Canada Post, USPS and Acendia International. There is also always the option of in store pickup if you wish to avoid shipping all together.

It depends on where you are. In-stock orders within Canada will take 2-5 business days to arrive, United States 7-10 business days, and Overseas can take anywhere from 7-21 days. Made-to-order items require 1-2 weeks for production before shipping. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

In order to reduce the mystery of when the package will arrive we supply all our customers with a tracking number. If you didn't receive a tracking number, please check your spam folder just in case. When in doubt, our helpful staff are always happy to answer any questions you may have and are reachable through our contact page.

Returns

You can return products you ordered from YNOT's website (except custom products) within 30 days of receipt, as long as the item is unused, unwashed, has the original packaging and is otherwise in like-new condition.

Before sending an item to YNOT for return please contact us to let us know you are sending it. Return shipping labels are NOT provided.

Once the item has been received at our warehouse, your return will be processed. Please allow up to 10 days for the funds to appear in your bank account.

Repairs and Warranty

All YNOT bags and sewn accessories come with a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY to be free of defects in workmanship and materials under normal use. This applies only to the original owner. The warranty does not cover wear and tear.

Check out our replacement parts section to see the full selection.

The exterior of your bag or accessory can be simply spot cleaned or wiped down with water to get the majority of dirt and grime off. Use a gentle soapy mixture to scrub away any stubborn stains and then rinse thoroughly. The liner can be wiped clean similarly. Wipe clean and dry all hardware. DO NOT PUT YOUR BAG IN THE WASHING MACHINE and DO NOT PUT YOUR BAG IN THE DRYER. Any cleaning wears away at the exterior coatings and therefore reduces the water repellency of your bag, so always try the least destructive cleaning method first. DO NOT USE CHLORINE OR BLEACH BASED CLEANERS.

The wax used on the canvas bags is a paraffin/beeswax combination that can be found quite easily through third party retailers. Take the wax and gently rub it onto the canvas. You will notice a slight white wax film on the fabric from the wax. Use a hairdryer on a low temperature setting to slowly melt the wax into the fabric. Once the wax has absorbed, you are good to go.

No. Our factory has closed and we rely on a network of home sewers to continue producing Pedal Straps and other small accessories. We do not have the equipment or supplies needed for most repairs.

other

Our pedal straps are designed to work best with the Wellgo vinyl flat platform pedal. The openings for the strap to pass through must be at least ¾" wide x ¼" tall. This includes most BMX/MTB platform pedals (e.g. Demolition PC, Animal Hamilton PC, and Shadow Conspiracy Ravager).

It's really easy! You can view an installation video here. If you need additional help, our YNOT staff will be happy to advise you over the phone, via email or in person at our warehouse.

Not presently. But if you are interested in producing YNOT product at home and you have a walking foot sewing machine, please contact us.

YNOT sponsors many events around the world with product and support. We are however a small company with limited resources. As a result we have to limit the amount of events we sponsor. If you are seeking sponsorship please email us with the details of your event, including how many people you expect to have, and the level of sponsorship you require. Please provide a minimum of 4 weeks notice prior to the event.

You can purchase our products directly though us or through one of our retailers around the world. A full listing of our retailers around the world can be found in the RETAILERS section of the site.
